Maslenitsa is a traditional Slavic festival celebrated during the week before Fast. It marks the boundary of the winter and spring. Although the festival has absorbed a lot of Christian traditions, it still retains some pagan customs. The main heroine of the festival is the straw effigy of Lady Maslenitsa. Throughout the week all kinds of contests, strength competitions and performances take place around Lady Maslenitsa.

The healing power of Koyshskoe lake

Travel to Crimea

There are a lot of unique places in Crimea. One of them is the unusual salty lake, which has healing properties in the salt. In Spring the water of this lake looks quite normal and salinity has not increased too much.

The Nazi secret society “Ahnenerbe SS” were also seriously engaged in occult researches in Crimea, which for them was no less important than Tibet. Both Soviets and Nazis had very good reason for their intrest.
